SENATE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION



        A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the legislative council to require the child custody and support advisory committee to study issues concerning child custody, visitation, and age of emancipation.

    Whereas, There is a great need for further study concerning the issues of child custody, visitation, and age of emancipation: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives concurring:


    SECTION 1. That the legislative council is urged to require the child custody and support advisory committee to study issues concerning child custody, visitation, and age of emancipation.
    SECTION 2. That the child custody and support advisory committee, if directed to do so by the legislative council, shall study and may make recommendations to the general assembly concerning the following:
        (1) Child custody laws.
        (2) Child visitation laws.
        (3) Age of emancipation.
        (4) Any other related issues.
    SECTION 3. That the child custody and support advisory committee shall operate under the direction of the legislative council and shall issue a final report on its findings when directed to do so by the legislative council.
