A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION to memorialize and honor
Norman Wayne "Jack" Brothers.
Whereas, Norman Wayne "Jack" Brothers, a lifetime
resident of the Milton area, graduated from Milton High
School in 1948;
Whereas, after completing his education, Mr. Brothers
worked for Merchandising Equipment Group in Cambridge
City for twenty-five years and later retired from Hook-Super
X Drug Stores after thirteen years of service in 1992; and
Whereas, Mr. Brothers actively contributed to his
community through his sixteen year tenure on the Milton
Town Board, where he served as President, and through his
contributions as a member of the Milton Fire Department for
thirty-four years: Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly memorializes
and honors Norman Wayne "Jack" Brothers for his lifetime of service
and dedication.
SECTION 2. That Mr. Brothers' many contributions to his
community are inspiring to us all.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to
transmit a copy of this resolution to his wife, Florence E. Jann
Brothers, to his son, Mike Brothers, and to his daughter, Jan Whitaker.
