Treble damages collected by payday lenders. Exempts transactions involving payday lenders from the requirement that the holder of a dishonored check be awarded: (1) treble damages for a dishonored check with a face amount of $250 or less; and (2) the face amount of the check plus $500 for a dishonored check with a face amount of more than $250. |
