  | DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL Accounting for child support. Requires a court, after a proper showing of necessity, to order a person receiving child support to provide an accounting of future expenditures. Requires the court to set terms regarding how often the accounting must be filed and the detail required, including the types of acceptable documentation or other evidence. Establishes procedures for filing and distributing an accounting. Applies to paternity, divorce, and legal separation cases. (Current law allows a court to order an accounting in a paternity case.) |
