DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL

Rabies and biting dogs. Limits the provision authorizing the confinement or destruction of an animal that has been bitten by a rabid animal to animals that have not been vaccinated for rabies. Provides that if an animal has bitten a person and the owner presents evidence of rabies vaccination, the owner may elect to have the animal destroyed instead of impounded.
