Funding for septic system replacement. Requires the department of environmental management, in the priority ranking system it is required to use in recommending loans and other financial assistance from the wastewater revolving loan fund, to recognize the extension of sewer systems to replace failing residential septic systems as a high priority in the achievement of water quality goals. Annually appropriates $5,000,000 from the state general fund to the wastewater revolving loan fund to provide financial assistance for the extension of sewer systems to replace failing residential septic systems. |
