Farmland property tax credit, farm preservation. Provides a 10% farm credit against a farmer's property tax liability attributable to farmland. Provides reimbursement for local government from the property tax replacement fund. Establishes a county land preservation and use commission in each county. Requires the commission to prepare a county land preservation and use plan. Requires the commission to submit the plan to the county legislative body for consideration. Allows the commission to designate farmland as an agricultural preservation area. Prohibits most nonagricultural uses in an agricultural preservation area. |
