Synopsis: Dispensing of abortion devices. Provides that a person shall not be required, as a condition of training, employment, pay, promotion, or privileges, to dispense any medical device or drug that may result in an abortion.

    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning health.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 16-34-1-5; (01)IN1631.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 16-34-1-5 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2001]: Sec. 5. No person shall be required, as a condition of training, employment, pay, promotion, or privileges, to do the following:
        (1)
Agree to perform or participate in the performing of abortions.
        (2) Dispense any medical device or drug that may result in, or that is intended to result in, an abortion.
