SENATE RESOLUTION


     MR. PRESIDENT:

        I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services Signing Choir and their director, Jean Hunley, for an outstanding performance of "Thank You" by Indiana composer Ray Boltz.


    Whereas, the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services Signing Choir displayed their excellent signing talents in a recent performance of "Thank You" for the Indiana State Senate;

    Whereas, the members of the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services Signing Choir deserve recognition for the hard work and dedication each has devoted to this organization. In addition to their performance for the Indiana Senate, the choir performs at nursing homes, churches, schools, and community functions; and

    Whereas, Jean Hunley, director of the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services Signing Choir, deserves special recognition for her commitment to developing the musical talents and signing abilities of the choir members: Therefore,



Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:



    SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate recognizes the superior talent displayed by the members of the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services Signing Choir under the direction of Jean Hunley.
    SECTION 2. That the Indiana Senate was honored to have the choir perform this inspirational work for its members.
    SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to Director Jean Hunley and choir members Keith Combs, Wayne Eliot, Dorothy Evans, Steve Hill, Mike Lykins, Loria Ly Netherly, Randy "Jake" Netherly, Scott O'Brien, Rick Pierce, Tiecole Swain, Jim Thurman, Wilma Jane Wall, and Mike Wood.
