    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning courts and court officers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. IC 33-2-1-1 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2002]: Sec. 1. The supreme court shall consist of five (5) judges, seven (7) justices, any three (3) four (4) of whom shall form a quorum, and shall have jurisdiction in appeals coextensive with the state.
    SECTION 2. IC 33-2.1-2-1 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2002]: Sec. 1. Supreme Court. The supreme court shall consist of five (5) judges, seven (7) justices, any three (3) four (4) of whom shall constitute a quorum and shall have jurisdiction as provided by the Constitution of the State of Indiana.
