A HOUSE RESOLUTION to honor Columbus Christian High School Crusaders Varsity Boys Basketball Team as the 2002-2003 Christian Schools State Tournament Champions.

Whereas, the Columbus Christian High School Crusaders are the Christian Schools State Tournament Champions;

Whereas, Columbus Christian High School Crusaders were the tournament runners-up in the Christian Schools Athletic Conference Tournament;

Whereas, in 2002 the Columbus Christian Crusaders were the Turkey Shootout Thanksgiving Tournament runners-up;

Whereas, Peter Lustig and Chad Wasson were named to the (Columbus) Republic All-Area Honorable Mention team;

Whereas, Ryan Roth was named 2002-2003 State Tournament winner of the Christian Attitude Award;

Whereas, the members of the Columbus Christian High School Crusaders boys Basketball Team for 2002-2003 are: Andrew Brown, Alex Grayson, Andrew Hull, Gage Jewell, Peter Lustig, Sean McIntyre, Joshua Owings, Brandon Roll, Ryan Roth, Blake Trobaugh, Chad Wasson, Ryan Wasson;

Whereas, the Mayor of Columbus, Fred Armstrong, proclaimed April 2, 2003 as Columbus Christian School Day;

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly honors Columbus Christian High School Crusaders Varsity Boys Basketball Team as the 2002-2003 Christian Schools State Tournament Champions.

SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to Principal, Jan Lemmon, Dean of Students, Debbie England and Michael Dean.
