Synopsis: Repairs and equipment on wells. Provides that only a
licensed well driller may repair or add equipment to a well. Provides
that a violation is a Class B infraction.

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
professions and occupations.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
SECTION 1.
IC 25-39-5-8
IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
1, 2003]: Sec. 8. (a) A person may not repair or install equipment
on a well or the casing of a well unless the person is licensed under
this article.
(b) A person who violates this section commits a Class B
infraction.
