with a declared gross weight not to exceed 7,000 pounds.

FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2003]: Sec. 123. (a) "Passenger
motor vehicle" means, except as provided in subsection (b), a motor
for carrying passengers. The term does not include a
motorcycle, bus, or school bus. After December 31, 2003, the term
includes a truck with a declared gross weight not to exceed seven
thousand (7,000) pounds for which the person who registers the
truck requests registration as a passenger motor vehicle.
(b) For purposes of
, the term includes buses, school
buses, and private buses, and excludes trucks, tractors, and recreational
vehicles. After December 31, 2003, the term includes a motor
vehicle registered under
as a passenger motor vehicle.
