SENATE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION



    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION to congratulate Ryan Keckley, South Bend Saint Joseph High School senior, for winning the State High School Singles Tennis Championship.

    Whereas, in the early morning semifinals, Ryan Keckley defeated the defending state champion with a match score of 6-0, 6-0, qualifying Ryan for the Championship round;

    Whereas, the beginning of the first set of the Championship match proved to be a spirited battle. However, once Ryan was able to break the serve of his opponent to take a 4-3 lead, he dominated the match;

    Whereas, by virtue of his discipline, skill and endurance, Ryan won the State High School Singles Tennis Championship by overcoming his opponent in a 6-3, 6-1 victory at the Five Seasons Sports Country Club;

    Whereas, Ryan concluded his senior season with an undefeated record of 26-0, as well as the State High School Singles Tennis Championship Title;

    Whereas, the People of Indiana are proud of the achievements of its outstanding student athletes; and

    Whereas, Ryan Keckley should be congratulated on his special achievement for winning this Singles Tennis Championship and recognized for his dedication and

commitment to success as has been shown by Ryan's undefeated tennis season: Therefore,


Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives concurring:


    SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly hereby congratulates Ryan Keckley on a successful season and on winning the State High School Singles Tennis Championship.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to Principal Kathleen Ratliff, and to Ryan Keckley.
