DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL

Administrative rulemaking. Requires a state agency to submit to the legislative services agency a proposed rule with an estimated economic impact greater than $250,000 on regulated entities. Requires the legislative services agency to conduct a fiscal analysis concerning the effect that compliance with the proposed rule will have on the: (1) state; and (2) entities regulated by the proposed rule. (Current law provides that the economic impact must be greater than $500,000.)
