    A HOUSE RESOLUTION to honor the Reverend Robert Browning for more than 40 years of service to his community.

    Whereas, Robert Browning was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky and moved to Anderson, Indiana at the age of seven, and

    Whereas, Upon graduating from high school, he attended Anderson University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree, and

    Whereas, Robert Browning pursued his studies at the Anderson University Seminary School, and

    Whereas, Upon graduation, he received his first pastor job from First Church of God in Greensburg, Indiana, where he continues to serve his community, and

    Whereas, Reverend Browning served one term as a City Councilman at Large for the City of Greensburg, is former president of the Billings Elementary PTA, a former member of

the Greensburg Rotary Club, was a substitute teacher for many years and is an avid fan of the Greensburg Pirates basketball team and other local teams;

Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives honor the Reverend Robert Browning for his lifelong service and dedication to his church and his community.

    SECTION 2. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Reverend Robert Browning.
