HOUSE BILL No. 1183



    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning natural and cultural resources.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 14-15-3-13; (05)HB1183.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 14-15-3-13 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE]: Sec. 13. Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this chapter, a person operating a boat competing in and during:
         (1) a boat race;
         (2) a water ski event; or
        (3) any other organized boating activity;

over a fixed and marked course for which a permit has been issued by the department under this article may attempt to attain any speed of which the boat is capable.
