        A RESOLUTION honoring Todd Ault.

    Whereas, Eighteen-year-old Todd Ault is the 2004-2005 Indiana FAA state southern region vice president;

    Whereas, As state southern region vice president, Todd will spend the coming year traveling the state promoting agricultural education and the FFA, speaking to more than 6,000 students and FFA supporters, presenting numerous workshops and conferences, and participating in good will tours;

    Whereas, In addition to these duties, Todd is responsible for developing relationships with leaders in government, education, business, and agriculture;

    Whereas, Todd has been an active member of the FAA at the chapter, district, state, and national level for four years serving as chapter president and district XII president;

    Whereas, Todd has attended and volunteered at numerous state activities, including both state national conventions and the Premier Leadership Training Conference, SOAR, FIRE, and Executive Committee Training;

    Whereas, Todd has initiated many programs in his school, including a member auction and Junior High Day to help raise money and inform students about the FFA and participated in Soils, Forestry, Entomology, and Dairy judging;

    Whereas, Todd has been recognized locally with the Most Active Greenhand award, and has been accepted into the National Honor Society and the Vocational National Honor Society;

    Whereas, After serving the Indiana FFA and its members, Todd plans to attend Vincennes University and double major in Construction Technology and Construction Sales with a goal of joining the Peace Corps and traveling to Africa to build houses and schools; he wants to eventually start his own construction company: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates Todd Ault on his selection as the 2004-2005 Indiana FFA state southern region vice president and wishes him success at Vincennes University.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to Todd Ault and his mother Barbara Jo Ault.
