    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning insurance.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 27-1-15.7-2.5; (05)IN1375.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 27-1-15.7-2.5 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2005]: Sec. 2.5. The commissioner shall, not later than September 1, 2005, establish a policy to allow a waiver of the continuing education requirements of this chapter for an insurance producer who is serving on active duty in the armed forces of the United States in an area designated as a combat zone by the President of the United States.
