Your Committee on Employment and Labor , to which was referred House Bill
1307 , has had the same under consideration and begs leave to report the same back to the
House with the recommendation that said bill be amended as follows:

Page 2, line 32, after "its" insert: "
regular or routine schedule of
attorney's fees applicable to all claims filed on or after September
1, 2006, except as provided in subsection (e), to reflect the following
attorney's fees:
(1) A minimum of two hundred dollars ($200).
(2) Twenty percent (20%) of the first fifty thousand dollars
($50,000) of recovery.
(3) Fifteen percent (15%) of the recovery in excess of fifty
thousand dollars ($50,000).
(4) Ten percent (10%) of the value of:
(A) unpaid medical expenses;
(B) out-of- pocket medical expenses; or
(C) future medical expenses;
subject to the approval of the workers' compensation board
of Indiana.
(e) The board maintains continuing jurisdiction over all
attorney's fees in cases before the board and may order a different
attorney's fee or allowance in a particular case.".
