    I move that House Bill 1076 be amended to read as follows:

    Page 7, line 39, after "35-41-1-13.5)." insert " However, the requirements may not include training in identifying, responding to, and reporting crimes in which the person who committed the offense selected the victim who was injured or whose property was damaged or otherwise affected because of the behavior or beliefs of the victim, including the victim's sexual orientation, gender identity, smoking, excessive overeating, use of illegal drugs, excessive use of alcohol, promiscuous sexual behavior, or any other poor choice made by the victim.".

            (A) of the actual or perceived behavior or beliefs of the victim, including the victim's sexual orientation, gender identity, smoking, excessive overeating, use of illegal drugs, excessive use of alcohol, promiscuous sexual behavior, or any other poor choice made by the victim; or
            (B) of the actual or perceived behavior or beliefs of an individual affiliated or associated with the victim, including the individual's sexual orientation, gender identity, smoking, excessive overeating, use of illegal drugs, excessive use of alcohol, promiscuous sexual behavior, or any other poor choice made by the individual; or
        (2) who knowingly or intentionally damaged or otherwise affected property because:
            (A) of the actual or perceived behavior or beliefs of the individual who owned or occupied the property, including the individual's sexual orientation, gender identity, smoking, excessive overeating, use of illegal drugs, excessive use of alcohol, promiscuous sexual behavior, or any other poor choice made by the victim; or
            (B) of the actual or perceived behavior or beliefs of an individual affiliated or associated with the owner of the property, including the individual's sexual orientation, gender identity, smoking, excessive overeating, use of illegal drugs, excessive use of alcohol, promiscuous sexual behavior, or any other poor choice made by the individual.
".
