    I move that House Bill 1246 be amended to read as follows:

SOURCE: Page 2, line 3; (08)MO124603.2. -->     Page 2, line 3, delete "up to thirty (30)" and insert " fifteen (15)".
    Page 2, line 7, after "2009" insert " , and an additional fifteen (15) courses by July 1, 2011".
    Page 2, line 24, delete "An individual appointed by the Indiana Association of" and insert " Three (3) individuals who are superintendents and appointed by the superintendent of public instruction, with one (1) individual representing an urban school corporation, one (1) individual representing a suburban school corporation, and one (1) individual representing a rural school corporation.".
    Page 2, delete line 25.
    Page 4, line 31, delete "Each" and insert " (a) Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, each".
    Page 4, line 32, delete "five (5)" and insert " three (3)".
    Page 4, between lines 35 and 36, begin a new paragraph and insert:
    " (b) Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, each high school shall provide at least four (4) of each of the following course offerings to high school students who qualify to enroll in the courses:
        (1) Dual credit.
        (2) Advanced placement.

     (c) Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, each high school shall provide at least five (5) of each of the following course

offerings to high school students who qualify to enroll in the courses:
        (1) Dual credit.
        (2) Advanced placement.

(a) A school corporation shall record or include the following information in the official high school transcript for a student in high school:
        (1) Attendance records.
        (2) The student's latest ISTEP program test results under IC 20-32-5.
        (3) Any secondary level and postsecondary level certificates of achievement earned by the student.
        (4) Immunization information from the immunization record the student's school keeps under IC 20-34-4-1.
         (5) Course numbers and course grades earned by the student.
    (b) A school corporation may include information on a student's high school transcript that is in addition to the requirements of subsection (a).

        (1) eligible for free or reduced lunch in high school;
        (2) accepted into the double up for college program under IC 21-43-5; and
        (3) accepted for admission to the state educational institution.
     (b) Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year and subject to an appropriation by the general assembly, a state educational institution shall waive tuition and fees for a student who is:
         (1) accepted into the double up for college program under IC 21-43-5; and
        (2) accepted for admission to the state educational institution.
