    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning probate.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 2-5-16-4; (09)IN0043.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 2-5-16-4 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE]: Sec. 4. (a) For calendar year 2009 and every fourth calendar year thereafter, the chairman of the legislative council president pro tempore of the senate shall appoint a chairman and a vice chairman from among the commission's legislative members, each to serve a term of one (1) year. two (2) years.
    (b) For calendar year 2011 and every fourth calendar year thereafter, the speaker of the house of representatives shall appoint a chairman and a vice chairman from among the commission's legislative members, each to serve a term of two (2) years.
