    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning family law and juvenile law.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SOURCE: IC 31-37-17-8; (09)IN0367.1.1. -->     SECTION 1. IC 31-37-17-8 IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE AS A NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2009]: Sec. 8. Unless prohibited by federal law, a probation department and:
        (1) the county office of family and children;
        (2) a local office; and
        (3) the department;
may exchange information for use in preparing a report under this chapter.
