SENATE RESOLUTION


     MADAM PRESIDENT:

    I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring the Senate Republican Interns for their service during the Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Sixteenth Indiana General Assembly.

    Whereas, During the Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Sixteenth Indiana General Assembly, the Senate Republican Interns have provided the Senators of the Republican Party, individually and collectively, with outstanding support and assistance;

    Whereas, Those serving so ably during this session include: Joshua Adair, Erin Anderson, Ben Bauer, Aly Blume, Darby Brignac, Bethany Burrell, Wyatt Clarke, William Clay, Christopher Creighton, Jeffrey Crough, Andrew Dickerson, Jana Emmelman, Michael Harmon, Ryan Hiler, Hiram Holt, Samantha Jesulaitis, Donald Kelly, Risha Kohli, Kendra Lindsey, Katie Beth Maddox, Cecily Martin, Alex Miller, Tatum Miller, Sarah Overshiner, Brad Pope, Krista Rivera, Lorien Schoenstedt, Whitney Sharp, Christian Sheckler, Aaron Short, Julie Southworth, Spencer Stiegler, Ryan Stratman, Iris Summers, and Corey Walsh;


    Whereas, The Senate Republican Interns represent 18 schools throughout Indiana, Idaho, Kentucky, and Ohio: Ball State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Butler University, DePauw University, Grace College, Indiana State University, Indiana University- Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana University-South Bend, Indiana University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Morehead State University, Purdue University, University of Indianapolis, University of Southern Indiana, Valparaiso University School of Law, Verity Institute, and Wittenberg University; and

    Whereas, The support and assistance of the Interns have contributed to the Senate being more efficient and responsive to the people of the great State of Indiana: Therefore,
                                        

Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:


    SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate expresses its full appreciation and sincere commendation to the Senate Republican Interns who have loyally and capably served this Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Sixteenth Indiana General Assembly.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to each Republican Intern who served the Senate during the Second Regular Session of the One Hundred Sixteenth Indiana General Assembly.
