HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION



        A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring Marge Krampe.

    Whereas, Marge Krampe willingly donates her time and efforts to help others;

    Whereas, Marge has spent her life volunteering to improve the lives of those around her;

    Whereas, Marge has been a Girl Scout volunteer since 1981, serving as a troop leader, service unit chairman, council day camp director, and council trainer, and she received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Council in 1994;

    Whereas, Marge is active in her community, serving as president of the Sycamore Ice Skating Club and chairman of the Indiana Council of Figure Skating Clubs;

    Whereas, Marge has donated her time in the office of Calvary Lutheran School and at Lutheran High School, where she served as chairman of the Ladies Guild;

    Whereas, A member of the Calvary Lutheran Church, Marge was a Bible study discussion leader and attended the Bible Study Fellowship for 17 years;

    Whereas, Marge Krampe served as a delegate to the Republican State Convention in 1984, 1986, and 2006;

    Whereas, Representative David Frizzell feels that Marge

"has been such a benevolent presence in her community. She is always willing to organize and extend a helping hand to all in getting a mission accomplished. It will be impossible to replace her as a leader in the Perry Township Republican Party";

    Whereas, Perry Township Republican Chairman Kay Spear feels that "Marge has been involved in the electoral process for 35 years. I have worked closely with her in the last four years in her capacity as Republican Ward Chairman. Marge's ward is always ready for election day. She troubleshoots election day issues promptly and efficiently, and always retains her great attitude and smile. Marge will be sorely missed by all her Indiana friends when she makes that move to Tennessee. She is one of those people who truly can never be replaced"; and

    Whereas, It is fitting that special recognition be given Marge Krampe for her notable service on behalf of the people of her community and the state: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives

of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana,

the Senate concurring:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly wishes to thank Marge Krampe for her dedication to the service of others and her kindness and compassion for all.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a copy of this resolution to Marge Krampe.
