The Senate Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources, to which was referred House Bill No.
1129, has had the same under consideration and begs leave to report the same back to the Senate with the
recommendation that said bill be AMENDED as follows:

"SECTION 43. [EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE] (a) As used in
this SECTION, "board" refers to the Indiana state board of animal
health established by IC 15-17-3-1.
(b) The board shall conduct a study of the issue of farmers
selling unpasteurized milk to consumers.
(c) The study required by subsection (b) must be concluded
before November 1, 2012.
(d) At the conclusion of the study, the board shall prepare a
report setting forth the results of the study not later than
December 1, 2012. The board shall:
(1) present the report to:
(A) the governor; and
(B) the legislative council in an electronic format under
IC 5-14-6; and
(2) make copies of the report available to the public.
(e) This SECTION expires June 30, 2013.
