MADAM PRESIDENT:

    The Senate Committee on Corrections and Criminal Law, to which was referred Senate Bill No. 168, has had the same under consideration and begs leave to report the same back to the Senate with the recommendation that said bill be AMENDED as follows:

SOURCE: Page 3, line 31; (13)AM016802.3. -->     Page 3, line 31, delete "Any" and insert " Except as provided in subsection (k), any".
    Page 3, delete lines 33 through 36, begin a new paragraph and insert:
    " (k) A law enforcement officer may not obtain a blood sample under this section if:
        (1) the blood sample is to be obtained from an individual as a result of the individual's involvement in an accident or alleged crime; and
        (2) the law enforcement officer is involved in the investigation of the accident or alleged crime.".
    (Reference is to SB 168 as introduced.)

and when so amended that said bill do pass .
