SENATE RESOLUTION


     MADAM PRESIDENT:

    I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring the Senate Republican Interns for their service during the First Regular Session of the One Hundred Eighteenth Indiana General Assembly.

    Whereas, During this First Regular Session of the One Hundred Eighteenth Indiana General Assembly, the Senate Republican Interns have provided the Senators of the Republican Caucus, individually and collectively, with outstanding support and assistance;

    Whereas, Those serving us so ably in this session include: Robert Anderson, George Avgoustakis, Kristen Brasher, Laura Brown, Matthew Cherry, Laura Beth Clymer, Angel Coomer, Michael Cross, Sean Deneault, Kayla Druin, Holly Gillham, Madeleine Gilmer, Brad Gottschlich, Maria Granato, Zach Heimach, Irene Hickman, Greg Janowiak, John Kiefer, Greg Lannan, Jonathon Lounds, Erin Miller, Aamir Mirza, Shelley Myers, Jacob Nettnay, Mitchell Osterday, Kristin Pierce, Matthew Portner, Leah Puckett, Melody Quante, Abbey Reller, Megan Reynolds, Nathan Riley, Frank Speek, Matthew Tapp, Richard Tenore, Meghan Voigt, Landon Vos, Chase Warner,

and Daniel Werncke ;

     Whereas, The Senate Republican Interns represent nine universities throughout Indiana, as well as several other states, including: Indiana University, Indiana University Southeast, Ball State University, Purdue University, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, John Hopkins University, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Azuza Pacific University, and University of Evansville; and

     Whereas, The support and assistance of the Interns have contributed to the Senate being more effective and responsive on behalf of the people of this great State: Therefore,


                                

Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:


    SECTION 1. The Indiana Senate hereby expresses its full appreciation and sincere commendation to the Senate Republican Interns who have loyally and capably served this First Regular Session of the One Hundred Eighteenth Indiana General Assembly.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to each Republican Intern who served the Senate during the First Regular Session of the One Hundred Eighteenth Indiana General Assembly.
