MR. SPEAKER:
    Your Committee on       Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development     , to which was referred       House Bill 1752     , has had the same under consideration and begs leave to report the same back to the House with the recommendation that said bill be amended as follows:

SOURCE: Page 2, line 6; (01)AM175201.2. -->     Page 2, after line 6, begin a new paragraph and insert:
SOURCE: IC 14-15-4-2; (01)AM175201.3. -->     "SECTION 3. IC 14-15-4-2 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2001]: Sec. 2. The operator of a boat involved in an accident or a collision resulting in injury to or death of a person or damage to a boat or other property to an apparent extent of at least two seven hundred fifty dollars ($200) ($750) shall do the following:
        (1) Give notice of the accident to:
            (A) the office of the sheriff of the county;
            (B) the nearest state police post; or
            (C) the nearest conservation office;
        immediately and by the quickest means of communication.
        (2) Mail to the department a written report of the accident or

collision within twenty-four (24) hours of the accident or collision.".
    (Reference is to HB 1752 as introduced.)

and when so amended that said bill do pass.
