Synopsis: Teacher licensing examinations. Requires a testing service
that administers a written examination for initial teacher licensing to
provide the following information to an individual who did not receive
a passing score on the examination: (1) A copy of the individual's
graded examination. (2) The scoring rubrics and model answers used
in grading the examination.
Effective: July 1, 2001.

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
education.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1.
IC 20-6.1-3-11
IS ADDED TO THE INDIANA CODE
AS A
NEW SECTION TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY
1, 2001]:
Sec. 11. (a) This section applies to an individual who does
not achieve a passing score on a written examination administered
under section 10.1 of this chapter.
(b) A testing service that administers a written examination
under section 10.1 of this chapter shall release the following
information to an individual described in subsection (a):
(1) A copy of the individual's graded examination.
(2) The scoring rubrics and model answers used in grading
the examination.
