    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning gaming.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. IC 4-30-3-18 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2002]: Sec. 18. The commission may enter into agreements with other states jurisdictions for the operation and promotion of a multistate multiple jurisdictional lottery if these agreements are in the best interest of the lottery. However, this power is not effective until one (1) year after the first day of lottery ticket sales.
