Synopsis: Prescription drug advisory committee. Conference committee report for ESB 107. Extends the expiration date of the prescription drug advisory committee ("committee") to December 31, 2005. Adds a township trustee as a member of the committee. Extends the date by which the committee must make prescription drug program design recommendations. (This conference committee report deletes provisions that: (1) deposit rebates from the Indiana prescription drug program into the Indiana prescription drug account and allows money in the account to be used to match federal funds for the program; (2) provide that a prescription is valid for one year from the date the prescription is filled; (3) require the office of Medicaid policy and planning to apply for a federal Medicaid waiver to provide prescription drugs to low income Indiana residents; (4) appropriate $15,516,618 from the Indiana tobacco master settlement agreement fund to the Indiana prescription drug account; (5) require the office of the secretary of family and social services to establish and implement a point of sale system for the Indiana prescription drug program; and (6) extends the expiration date of the committee to December 31, 2005.)

    Your Conference Committee appointed to confer with a like committee from the House upon Engrossed House Amendments to Engrossed Senate Bill No. 107 respectfully reports that said two committees have conferred and agreed as follows to wit:

    that the Senate recede from its dissent from all House amendments and that the Senate now concur in all House amendments to the bill and that the bill be further amended as follows:

    Delete the title and insert the following:
    A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning health.
