DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL

Felony murder. Provides that a person at least 18 years of age who kills another person while committing battery on a child less than 14 years of age commits felony murder. Removes a provision making battery resulting in the death of a child less than 14 years of age by a person at least 18 years of age a Class A felony. Makes conforming amendments.
