DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL

Cross burning. Provides that a person who burns an object with the intent to place another person in fear of physical injury or property damage commits intimidation by burning, a Class A misdemeanor. Makes the offense a Class D felony if the person commits the crime on property owned or occupied by the victim.
