Annexation. Reduces the number of landowners required to oppose an annexation by a municipality located in a county contiguous to a county containing a consolidated city. Provides that if: (1) landowners of territory petition a municipality, seeking to be annexed; and (2) at least 50% of the territory's boundary (not including any boundary contiguous to a county boundary) is contiguous with the municipality; the landowners seeking annexation are not required to prove that municipal services are unavailable to the territory in order for the court to order annexation. |
