Statute of limitations for sex crimes. Extends the period within which a prosecution for rape or criminal deviate conduct as a Class B felony must be commenced from five years after the commission of the offense to 20 years after the commission of the offense. Eliminates references to repealed provisions of the child molesting statute. (The statute of limitations for offenses committed under the repealed provisions has run.) |
