Synopsis: Public passenger chauffeur's licenses. Provides that a public passenger chauffeur's license (license) is valid for four years and that the fee for the license is $8. (Current law provides that the license is valid for two years and that the fee for the license is $4.)

    A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning motor vehicles.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

Except as provided in section 11 of this chapter, a public passenger chauffeur's license issued under this article after December 31, 1996, expires at midnight of the birthday of the holder that occurs two (2) four (4) years following the date of issuance.
