A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning professions and occupations.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE] (a)
Notwithstanding IC 25-21.5-5-2(2)(A), an individual who presents
the state board of registration for land surveyors with:
(1) a verified affidavit from a land surveyor registered under
IC 25-21.5 stating that the applicant has worked under the
direction of the registered surveyor as a lead field surveyor
for the previous ten (10) years; and
(2) a verified affidavit from an engineer registered under
IC 25-31-1 stating that the applicant has worked for an
engineering company for the previous twenty (20) years;
meets the education and experience requirements under
IC 25-21.5-5-2(2)(A) and may take the examination under
