  | DIGEST OF HB 1302 (Updated February 12, 2009 10:19 am - DI 107) School based behavioral supports and services. Requires the department of education (department), with assistance from the department of child services and the division of mental health and addiction, to develop and coordinate school based behavioral supports and services (supports and services) for children. Provides that a child may only participate in a supports and services program if a parent provides written consent. Requires the department to submit a report to legislative council regarding statistics and data concerning the number of schools providing supports and services programs and the department's plan to implement supports and services programs. |
