DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL

County inmate drug rehabilitation fund. Establishes the county inmate drug rehabilitation fund in each county to provide drug treatment and rehabilitation services to inmates confined in a jail located in the county. Provides that if a county receives funds from the state for confining a person: (1) placed under the custody or made a ward of the department of correction; and (2) in a jail located in the county; 20% of the funds must be deposited in the county inmate drug rehabilitation fund.
